FAQ

Coating factory questions we get asked

The ones that come up in almost every first call, answered the way we answer them on the phone.

I have no technical staff. Can I still do this?
Yes. We supply the formulations, processes and QC forms, coach you remotely through the first three batches, and can send an engineer to your site if needed.
Will the formula work with our local cement and sand?
After signing, you send us samples of your local cement, sand and water. We run adaptation trials with them and only release the formulation once it passes.
Do I have to buy raw materials from you?
We recommend buying the key materials from us, because the formulation is validated with them. Bulk materials are bought locally. If you have your own sources, we can validate them for you.
What is the minimum order?
The first shipment is sized to your trial production plan — usually enough for 10 to 20 tonnes of finished product.
What equipment do I need?
Water-based coatings need a disperser or mixer, storage tanks and a filling machine. Powder products need a mixer and a bagging machine. We provide an equipment list with parameters and can help with purchasing.
Is the formulation confidential?
Both sides sign an NDA. The formulation is licensed to you for the agreed market only.
What exactly does the one-year after-sales cover?
Remote support, formula adjustment, troubleshooting and training materials are all included. On-site visits are charged at cost for travel. See the after-sales module for the full scope.
What else can I produce besides waterproof coatings?
One water-based line can produce waterproof coatings, wall paints and sound insulation coatings. Epoxy floors need a separate mixing and packaging line; water-based intumescent fireproof grades can share the line. We help you sequence the products — usually waterproofing first, then wall paints, then floors and fireproofing.
Can I buy finished products first to test the market?
Yes. With two production bases we can supply finished products or private label first, and move to local production once your market is proven.
Payment terms?
The technical service fee is paid at signing; raw materials are paid per order. T/T accepted, letter of credit negotiable.
How long until production starts?
Typically 60 to 90 days from signing to the first trial batch, depending on equipment and the arrival of raw materials at your port.
